When I wrote about the club and the assistance from the County, I should have said the cost of the pavilion rebuild was £180K not £18K. The main changing rooms have been enlarged by building on the back end. Underneath, what had been the machinery store has been converted to additional changing rooms and a new umpire's room.

We do receive money from WCCC on an annual basis which we appreciate, but it didn't pay for all the above work.

One of the agreements we have is that we reserve two wickets ...

Lets not forget that Mark came to us from the RFL; and that ex-FA CEO Adam Crozier is now CEO at ITV!

The real interest from our perspective is that Mr.Regan has been a proponent of 'franchises/city cricket' and now he has walked away- what does that tell you?

Just checking up on the Sri Lanka vs. India scorecard and I see Murali took 5 for 63 off 17 overs. That takes him to 797 Test wickets and an incredible 67 5 fors! So he needs 3 more to reach 800 and surely set a record which stand for a very long time. Whatever you think of his action it is a remarkable achievement from a player who really seems to enjoy his cricket. I hope he gets there.

It's humbling...I am sitting here about to head off to bed and it hits you- I am 40! I'm still a 20-something in my head...I feel actually quite.....odd. When I was small and 'big school' began at 11- an impossibly large and mature age to conceive ...

It was, notoriously, the benefit of one Bertie Buse. I've often wondered what the hell happened and if it ruined the much-loved Buse.

Now Cricinfo provides the background, tells the tale- and reminds us of how cricket squares have always been undervalued..and the oddest use for cow manure and cuttings from ...

Last match is Warks T20 22nd June.

The guy has done an excellent job for us. I just hope he starts getting games for Middlesex because it'll be a great shame if he ends up sitting on the sidelines.

Ben Cox to take over.

What happens if Cox gets injured ? Do we have a hotline to Scott or anyone else ? Knappetts been doing well for the Unicorns although he'd have every right to tell us to get stuffed now.
