| I'm not one for football, never have been, but I hear on the grapevine that something huge could be released this week. It's a potential piece of news which could see 4 top players given life bans. It concerns the FA cup final this year, which saw Everton score in the first minute. Watch this space.. _________________ I am an architect, they call me a butcher I am a pioneer, they call me primitive

| Interesting..but to put in context, I have heard of a current England international also heading for a life ban...
But the trouble is this: that rumour was around in small description last week, I have been told.
This week more people have been told- same name and same crime.
It does sound like corn or a scam- a betting scam?
The story I have heard is that the FA will come clean no later than Wednesday, and that the media all know, but m'learned friends are involved and everyone is too scared to publish before the FA do.
Sounds like Cat has caught multiple Chinese whispers- routine off the Net- and that the whole story is trash...but one last thing: if it proves to be true, it will break this week or next- and be the biggest football story for 40 years. |

| Well, I've had a fair few people tell me of this. One fella in the pub earlier reckoned it was true, and he's not usually wrong on these matters. He was saying about match fixing, and the proverbial will hit the fan. Interesting days ahead _________________ I am an architect, they call me a butcher I am a pioneer, they call me primitive

| WBB, I've heard something about the white powder too, but this doesn't link to a player playing for either of the sides involved in the FA Cup Final like EC has said, is your info the same? |

| Nopes, Brian. The story I have is a much bigger name- but bear in mind the Net is like the stands at New Road: you get a better class of rubbish there. |

| Why are you so coy in repeating gossip or rumour ? |

| If the rumour I have heard is true and is the same as WBB it will have very serious consequences for the individual involves, and I think until anything comes out via an official source any rumours could be libellous and could get anybody who names names as well as this board into serious trouble |
