Of course that might be wrong, I've been to bed since then

To bed or in bed?

Yes but you have not seen what has been coming down today.
Just come back from Alcester and the 422 has so much standing water you would not believe!

And the worrying thing for me is that 'our' Severn is really a 'superSevern' and not the one you see meandering long in Wales- ours is really a merger of the Severn, Vyrnwy, Teme and Clun.

Thankfully, the Severn/Vyrnwy confluence on the Shropshire/Welsh border has no reports of flooding. But the Teme/Clun union at Leintwardine, Herfs. has had flooding. Lots of it- the roads west and south out of Leintwardine to Wales and to Hereford are still blocked by flooding after nearly a week. Crying or Very sad

So we have the time when that lot gets down the Teme to Powick to worry about yet.

The still partly flooded ground does not affect the quality of catering in the Graham Hick Pavilion. Another very enjoyable Sunday Lunch today
