| This morning`s news that the loss incurred through the 2007 floods had now been wiped out is a great credit to Percy Price, Mark Newton and their backroom team. Many of us feared it was the end of the road when the tragedy struck-and struck again-and I was one of those advocating a move to drier pastures. Percy and Mark never wavered and have now wiped the slate clean.Very, very well done. Now give us a team to be proud of! |

| Well said Rupert, I think it is a huge achievement considering it has taken less than two years!!!! I thought we'd be counting the cost for the next decade. _________________ GA Hick MBE, gone but not forgotten!!! | Marvellous news and to be fair, rupert admits that he was wrong and took it like a man.
I still think we need to look at playing 20/20 at this proposed Sixways/Smite site which has now gone all quiet again; but secure New Road for First-Class and Trophy games whilst allowing for other games to be played more extensively there- more Womens games, the return of Club and Ground; and maybe even inviting Worcester City CC or Worcester Nomads CC in as tenants for some games? |
