I agree rupert, I think that if one of them got a century they would still be dropped from the next game!!! A very sorry state of affairs.

A real level playing field.

FIVE overseas players to our ONE

This moral obligation stance is really starting to annoy me.
Especially when we become the laughing stock of other counties.

I still remember 2 years ago when Lancs and Kent were upset
at having no play against us, because we were considered
the 'whipping boys'

I've grown to not get so upset when we lose, but can't stand
us being a laughing stock.

Still as Bumpy says, Glamorgan get thrashed too.

Greyhounds by comparison

Credit is due if there is a lot of moisture about and we can block our way through the first session none down

Worcester Evening News
13:45
2nd July 2009.

"It was a poor toss to lose"

"The youngsters will have gained invaluable experience"

"It was always going to be a tough ask, missing 3 of our batsmen"

"It's a great honour to have 3 players representing England, it shows our anti kolpak policy is right"

"We're not as bad as Glamorgan, they've finished in the bottom 2 of Division 1 the last
3 years, and they also haven't won a 4 day match this season"

Worcester Evening News
13:52
2nd July 2009.

"We are on target to reach the magical 100 points mark, which would be a
fantastic achievement given that it would eclipse both our 2007 total of 95 points
and Glamorgans 88.5 points in 2005.

Simply in terms of experience (not wanting to judge the likes of Wheeldon without seeing them, or knowing much about them) this must count as one of the weakest Worcestershire teams put out in many years. Ashley Noffke at 6 is just scary.

Knappett at 9 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I suppose the only consilation for him is that Hicky started at 9.

Knappett at 9 is pure madness- he has opened, has played regularly at 6 and I would have played him at 3-6 myself.
