A N Kervezee (5), D K H Mitchell (27), B F Smith(4), M M Ali (Cool, D A Wheeldon (30), A A Noffke (29), G J Batty (12), J P Knappett(23), K Ali (15), C D Whelan (6), M S Mason (24) and I D Fisher (10).

Nothing to lose, I suppose. Can't do worse - oh, the problem is that three of our better players are missing ! Durham must be quaking.

I'm actually looking forward to the 3 of them playing, the unfortunate thing is that Batty will be captain!!!!!!
Be good to have another look at the Dutch kid, and Mr Wheeldon, and to see if Knappett can start to push Davies for the wicketkeeping slot.

The really sad thing is that none of these 3 would be in with a sniff of getting in the team if it weren't for the Lions game, and that is when we are playing really crappy, I could understand it if we were top of the league. Does make you think how crap do you need to play to be dropped in this team?

To be fair, 3 players out on Lions duty WILL NOT be an excuse at all. Durham too have Collingwood, Harmison and Onions out on England/ Eng. Lions duty.

I still have hope.

No room for Warner?

How about some changing room motivation

There are a few on the DBTR board who are confident Durhams second xi would beat us inside 4 days

Apparently their 5th and 6th best bowlers are probably as highly rated as the best that we have

Based on this season's efforts Batty, Smith and Mason are undroppable - made even worse by the fact that the coach has made one the vice captain and the other two the coaches - one of the problems of jobs for the boys ?

How I hope that the 3 new boys do realy well and that Rhodes has to make a decision for the next match based on form not favouritism.

Well, I predict we will do very well this game.

The Lads will pull together for the struggle I reckon.

I could possibly see a Worcs win at the end of the game cat

I too think we could do well up there.

It will be interesting if Kervezee, Knappett and Wheeldon all have good games, will they play the following week if so??

Good luck to the lads over the next few days.

I agree rupert, I think that if one of them got a century they would still be dropped from the next game!!! A very sorry state of affairs.
