| I think you know the answer.... Cricket, Easter, Unicorns in the same sentence..... _________________ My first match: Headley, Turner, Stimpson, B d'Oliveira, Hemsley, Yardley, Ormrod, Wilcock, Gifford, Holder, Carter

| And that proves the point! If someone who obviously follows the game as closely as Sunbeam does, doesn't know, then the Unicorns (and the ECB) have a problem. The Unicorns are the contrived team of rejects, wannabes, has beens and assorted hangers on invited to join in one of our glorious one day competitions this year. I can't remember which one! It's all too confusing, ECB! _________________ My first match: Headley, Turner, Stimpson, B d'Oliveira, Hemsley, Yardley, Ormrod, Wilcock, Gifford, Holder, Carter

| Click on the 'ECB Recreational XI' [the working title for the Unicorns] thread on here somewhere for more info! |

You really should consider joining the ECB marketing department Tim. You have a gift ! Wouldn't it be really funny if they won the damn tournament. Anyway, the important thing is ............................... THE SEASON STARTS IN ONE MONTH (Where is Craig's usual countdown ?) |

| Why thank you I think it was an accurate description of this "team" _________________ My first match: Headley, Turner, Stimpson, B d'Oliveira, Hemsley, Yardley, Ormrod, Wilcock, Gifford, Holder, Carter

| The ECB making something up in order to re-invent and re-brand a competition. How unusual ! |

Craig has, I fear, been seduced by booze and blondes and Henderson's Relish in his degree course...little matter of finals this year as well
Incidentally, for some of us he is the embodiment of how the years have passed...I am sure he wouldn't mind me telling you that his constant posting on the first [one line only!] forum [this is the third!] encouraged many of us to join in....it came as a nice shock to many of us when we realised he was only 13, given the maturity of his content -and the fact that he had already been published on Ceefax! |

| Sunday, 02 May 2010ECB 40 LeagueSurrey v Unicorns, The Brit Oval, 12:30 I think you'll be amazed at how many Unicorns fans will mysteriously come out of the woodwork... 'come on you contrived team of rejects, wannabes, has beens and assorted hangers on' |

| Lets hope Craig gets his priorities right and sidelines the booze, blondes, HR and finals to ensure the Prediction League runs smoothly. This is my year, I can feel it _________________ WCCC : County Champions Elect 2012

| Many thanks for enlightening me. Does the ECB plan to introduce a supporters club , otherwise who's going to cheer them on ? |

| Good point, never thought of that. There's no point sitting in the Dolly stand singing "it's all gone quiet over there" when there weren't any opposition supporters in the first place. _________________ WCCC : County Champions Elect 2012
