| Yes, a look out of the window at snow and darkness for 6- but we start to play cricket again next month...the Rubicon has well and truly been crossed. You'd have to be a fanatic- a real Cross Arrows devotee- to be there for our first set of friendlies- but I hope many from here are! |

| Well, I shall be down at the County ground Chelmsford, camera in hand and reporters pen at the ready. Accompanied by a big packed lunch and a few Kroneys too of course _________________ I am an architect, they call me a butcher I am a pioneer, they call me primitive

| Anyone going to a friendly at New Road in March had best take a life jacket, just in case. |

| Darkness 'only' at 6pm now. February already. Membership pack received. I don't care what happened at NR last year now. The anticipation and excitement of a new season is killing me. |

and thermals.... Wore full winter survival gear including gloves and woolly hat at Chester le Street in May a few years ago. It was worth it as Durham beat reigning champions, Slurry. Glad it was over by tea, frostbite was approaching. _________________ My first match: Headley, Turner, Stimpson, B d'Oliveira, Hemsley, Yardley, Ormrod, Wilcock, Gifford, Holder, Carter

| Guess I'm lucky living in the balmy south , last year was ok though, about 16c which ain't too bad for early April. And I recall going to London for the day on March 17th, and seeing the thermometer on the side of a car park at Old St registering 19c. No fault either as it was a lovely day, and all the pubs had their doors wide open _________________ I am an architect, they call me a butcher I am a pioneer, they call me primitive
