| It effectively banned Younis Khan and Mohammad Yousuf from playing for Pakistan in any format, while handing out one-year bans to Shoaib Malik and Rana Naved-ul-Hasan. Who does that leave ? |

| My thoughts also. A very inexperienced and leaderless squad, I think. _________________ My first match: Headley, Turner, Stimpson, B d'Oliveira, Hemsley, Yardley, Ormrod, Wilcock, Gifford, Holder, Carter

| Aggers has said on Twitter that this is a 'huge story...implosion'. And for once, that says it all. |

| What plans do their board have to go forwards from here? They were a mediocre side before this. They could be worse than WI or Zim now. _________________ My first match: Headley, Turner, Stimpson, B d'Oliveira, Hemsley, Yardley, Ormrod, Wilcock, Gifford, Holder, Carter

| Well, in answer to your question Tim, it's simple. The PCB have changed their mind ! Some bat burning in Karachi by all accounts and they've said 'there is no time frame given'. Not sure how handing out a lifetime ban needs a time frame. What a shambolic lot they are. |

| OK, I now accept that the ECB aren't the worst administrators in the cricketing world.....quite _________________ My first match: Headley, Turner, Stimpson, B d'Oliveira, Hemsley, Yardley, Ormrod, Wilcock, Gifford, Holder, Carter

| Hmmmm. I am tempted to feel something was lost in translation..all that they have done is to replace 'life ban'- which is customarily reviewed after two years and given an actual time term at that point;.... with 'indefinite period'- which is our old friend 'suspended sine die' and that player who attacked Serchers' child players last summer- ie. no time period and it just depends on how much and how long they need to repent for.
So in the end, the only difference was no difference at all! |

| The PCB I'm saddened to admit it, are even more inept than our ECB. The PCB are famous for their cricketing U Turns, so I expect this to be just another one soon. |

| Strangely, it's only Sky text reporting this turnaround. Nothing on their website, nor cricinfo or the BBC. Perhaps the editors of the websites have decided that they can't be bothered to spend time on money on this .... "lets see what the PCB do today before we waste time on this " |
