Grinner, just realised, I was at all 3 days of your first WCCC game, Ist day was old Jug Ears wedding day, and thus a rare Bank Holiday Wednesday. Decent crowd,
nearly all men, as
most ladies were hat spotting on TV.
Remember GMT hooking Kapil in front of square a few times. Mark Scott doing a passible impression of Boycott/ Tavare, Timmy Curtis taking a wicket, John Darling Inchmore supping beer at fine leg on the last day....and ex WCCC player Jim Yardley holding out for a draw.
The Holden's Mild was very good as well!
Non of which has anything to do with my prediction, which I'll post later.
